Purpose of the Session
- The session was convened to address the worsening crisis in Palestine, with focus on:
- Ongoing Israeli military aggression in Gaza.
- Israel’s proposed plan to occupy Gaza militarily.
- Continued violations of Palestinian rights amid famine in Gaza City.

Pakistan’s Position
According to the Foreign Office, Ishaq Dar’s participation reflects Pakistan’s firm support for Palestine. His stance emphasized:
- Rejection of Israel’s takeover plan for Gaza.
- Call for immediate Israeli withdrawal from all occupied territories.
- Demand for unhindered humanitarian aid for Palestinians.
- Support for an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, based on pre-1967 borders.
