Islamabad, August 26, 2025 – Field Marshal Asim Munir, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, held a telephone conversation with Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, to strengthen security cooperation and deepen bilateral military ties.
Pakistan and Iran’s military chiefs have pledged to step up efforts to eliminate terrorism and secure their common border, the Iranian embassy in Islamabad said on Tuesday.
