Emergency Response & Disruptions
To manage the evolving situation, the Balochistan government has implemented several emergency measures:
1. Healthcare Emergency
Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar and Health Secretary Mujeebur Rehman have imposed a state of emergency in all government hospitals.
- Quetta Trauma Centre & Civil Hospital: Operating theatres are on high alert, and additional medical staff have been deployed to treat those injured in the Quetta firing.

2. Communication Blackout
While standard mobile voice services remain operational, mobile data services (3G/4G) have been suspended in Quetta, Sibi, and Chaman as a precautionary measure to prevent militants from coordinating further strikes or spreading misinformation.
