PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mohammad Sohail Afridi announced on Friday that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) will hold a major political gathering tomorrow (Sunday) at the Hayatabad Sports Complex.
In a video message, the chief minister said that the party’s central leadership, along with leaders of the Tehreek-i-Tahafuz Ayeen-i-Pakistan (TTAP) — including Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas — will participate in the event.
He urged workers and supporters, especially members of the Insaf Students Federation (ISF), to attend in large numbers.
Afridi also encouraged activists to actively promote the gathering online.

“Everyone should record a 30-second video, share it on social media platforms, and invite people to attend the meeting,” he said, adding that while PTI supporters regularly join the party’s public events, digital messaging could significantly boost turnout and wider outreach.
