Islamabad – October 7, 2025 The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has launched a nationwide awareness campaign to alert citizens about the growing threat of fake online jobs scams being used to extract sensitive national and personal information.
According to PTA officials, hostile foreign agencies are exploiting digital platforms by luring unsuspecting Pakistanis, particularly youth, with fake online job offers. These counterfeit companies, often posing as reputable employers, promise high-paying opportunities via social media and job-related platforms like LinkedIn and JobGulf.
