Key Directives from the COAS
- Relief First: During his recent visit to flood-hit areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the COAS directed troops to serve the nation “with utmost devotion” and leave no effort in easing people’s hardships.
- Relief Operations Expanded: On August 16, the ISPR confirmed that all army formations were ordered to intensify rescue and rehabilitation, with specialized search-and-rescue teams, including a K-9 unit, deployed in KP.
- Donations and Rations: Every soldier’s one-day salary and more than 600 tonnes of ration have been dedicated to flood victims.
