The ISPR emphasized that the “relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’… by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.”The operation comes a day after a foiled suicide attack on Frontier Constabulary headquarters in Peshawar, highlighting the continuing surge in terror incidents in KP since the TTP ended its ceasefire in 2022.
Pakistan has repeatedly accused India of backing banned outfits like the TTP to destabilize the country, allegations New Delhi denies.
