HEC Postpones Nationwide Written Tests Due to Law and Order Situation

11 October 2025 – Islamabad: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has postponed several nationwide written tests that were scheduled to take place on October 11 and 12, citing the prevailing law and order situation in different cities.

In a statement issued on Friday, HEC’s Education Testing Council (ETC) announced that the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT), Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT), and the Recruitment Test for AML-CFT positions have all been deferred.

The commission said a revised schedule will be shared with all registered candidates in due course.

The postponement affects students and applicants across Pakistan who were set to appear in these key academic and recruitment examinations.
