TTP Chief Noor Wali Mehsud Masterminded Islamabad Court Suicide Blast, Reveals Info Minister Tarar

Islamabad, November 25, 2025 – In a stunning revelation amid Pakistan’s escalating counter-terrorism efforts, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar disclosed that banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader Noor Wali Mehsud orchestrated the deadly November 11 suicide bombing outside Islamabad’s Judicial Complex, which claimed 12 lives and injured 35 others.
Addressing a press conference, Tarar unveiled evidence linking the plot to Mehsud, who directed the attack via his commander Daadullah from Afghanistan. “Mehsud planned this attack through his commander Daadullah,” Tarar stated, displaying photos of four arrested TTP facilitators: Sajidullah alias Sheena, Kamran Khan, Muhammad Zali, and Shah Munir.

Tarar played a chilling video of Sajidullah, the suicide bomber’s handler, who joined TTP in 2015 and trained in Afghan camps. He met Daadullah in 2023 and fetched the explosive vest from Peshawar before guiding the attacker to the site. The swift arrests by the Counter-Terrorism Department and the Intelligence Bureau within 48 hours underscore Pakistan’s resolve against cross-border threats.
This disclosure intensifies scrutiny on Afghanistan-based TTP operations, following recent strikes like the Bannu IBO killing 22 militants. As terror incidents surge in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and beyond, Tarar affirmed the government’s commitment to Azm-i-Istehkam, vowing to dismantle foreign-backed networks. “We stand united to eradicate terrorism,” he added, echoing PM Shehbaz Sharif’s call for justice.
