High Alert at Prayer Sites and Transport Hubs

To stop any bad incidents, police officers and volunteers will guard mosques, Eidgahs, and Imambargahs. Police teams will search people at the entrances of these prayer sites and place security guards on the rooftops. Security forces will also set up checkpoints with armored vehicles and scanners at bus stations, railway stations, and main highways so that the public feels safe. Additionally, the police are working with Balochistan authorities to create a joint security system to protect police officers who are traveling home on leave.

Special Plans for Holiday Tourists in Hazara

The police are expecting a very large number of tourists to visit the scenic northern areas during the Eid holidays. Because of this, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) for Hazara division, Nasir Mehmood Satti, announced that over 10,000 police officers will be on duty in the division.

The police will set up 44 tourist help centers across eight districts, including Mansehra, Abbottabad, and Haripur. Special security control rooms will also monitor the situation around the clock to respond quickly to any emergency. To help visitors feel welcome, traffic wardens have been directed to guide tourists politely and not to fine their vehicles unless they commit a very serious violation of the law.
