In her viral transition, Hala doesn’t just put on a costume; she meticulously deconstructs the Disney aesthetic and rebuilds it with Desi opulence.

Instead of the signature simple purple dress, Hala stuns in a heavily embellished ensemble that pays homage to traditional  South-Asian craftsmanship.

Her floor-length hair, brunette instead of blonde, is decorated with flowers, replacing the fantasy magic of the original with the real-world fragrance of Lahore and Karachi.

She also incorporated the corona sun and the magical flowers into her looks by getting henna done in the designs.
