The visit builds on recent momentum – last month, Pakistan and Bahrain agreed to set up a joint working group on counter-terrorism, anti-narcotics, coastguard training, border security, and police cooperation. Talks on extradition treaties and mutual legal assistance are also advancing fast.

With billions in potential investment and thousands of Pakistani professionals already contributing to Bahrain’s growth, PM Shehbaz’s visit is being seen as a game-changer for bilateral ties.

Pakistan and Bahrain have always stood by each other – and this trip is set to write an exciting new chapter of prosperity and partnership.
