- King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is also Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, sent separate cables of condolences to President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan on Monday.

- King Salman’s message expressed “deepest condolences and sincere sympathy” to the families of the victims and the people of Pakistan. He prayed for the deceased, a swift recovery for the injured, and the safe return of the missing.
- Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s message echoed the sentiments, offering “deep sympathy” to the victims’ families and praying for mercy for the deceased and recovery for the injured.
- This followed the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ statement on August 15, in which the Kingdom expressed “sincere condolences and sympathy” while reaffirming its solidarity with Pakistan amid the ongoing flood disaster.
