“Who will trust you when you speak lies to your own people while trying to resolve conflicts between neighboring countries?” she asked, highlighting the irony of Pakistan acting as a regional mediator while internal judicial systems face criticism. She further criticized the government’s silence on international tragedies, such as the killing of schoolgirls in Iran, contrasting it with the vocal protests seen from former U.S. military officers.
Aleema did not hold back on the international front, labeling U.S. President Donald Trump as “unreliable” due to his shifting stances. She specifically questioned his demand to “open” the Strait of Hormuz, pointing out that the vital waterway was already operational before the current conflict began.
