SWAT — A policeman was martyred and four terrorists were killed during an ongoing joint security operation in Matta tehsil of Swat district, police and security sources confirmed on Wednesday.
Swat police spokesperson Nasir Iqbal Karimi said Elite Force Constable Gulfam embraced martyrdom late Tuesday night while confronting militants during the clearance operation.

Security sources reported that four terrorists affiliated with Fitna-al-Khawarij — the official designation for the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) — were eliminated in the exchange of fire.
