ISLAMABAD, Sept 13 — Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi has approved two important administrative appointments in the Supreme Court to strengthen judicial capacity and improve service delivery.
Deputationists are appointed on two key posts ( Secretary Supreme Judicial Council & Additional Registrar Administration) by CJP Yahya Afridi.

Strengthening Judicial Administration
According to a statement from the Supreme Court, District & Sessions Judge Sohail Muhammad Leghari (BPS-22) will now serve as Secretary of the SJC. He previously worked as Registrar of the Sindh High Court, where he contributed to institutional reforms and judicial administration.
Similarly, District & Sessions Judge Fakhar Zaman (BPS-21) has been appointed Additional Registrar (Administration). He was earlier serving at the Federal Judicial Academy in Islamabad, with expertise in training and judicial management.
Institutional Focus
The appointments are aimed at improving coordination within the superior judiciary. The Supreme Court noted that both officers will play a critical role in enhancing transparency, efficiency, and overall institutional performance.
