QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti announced on Monday that the provincial government will fill at least 111 posts in the finance department through an online and transparent recruitment process aimed at promoting merit and reducing corruption.
In a social media post, CM Bugti described the initiative as part of his commitment to ending nepotism and corruption in the province. “Online recruitment is being started for 111 government posts on a 100 per cent merit-based and paperless basis in the finance department,” he said, calling the move unprecedented.

Under the new system, candidates will undergo an online test designed to assess their qualifications and aptitude transparently. Successful candidates will receive their appointment letters within an hour of passing the test, ensuring that all appointments are strictly merit-based, the CM added.
CM Bugti also stated that the online recruitment model would be gradually extended to other government departments in Balochistan, signalling a broader effort to strengthen transparency and efficiency in the provincial administration.
