LAAM Festival 2026: The Intersection of Digital Commerce and Physical Retail

Mar 17, 2026 | Fashion & Entertainment

The LAAM Festival 2026 officially commenced on March 12 and concluded on March 15, 2026, marking a historic shift in Pakistan’s fashion landscape. Held at the upscale Fairways Commercial, DHA Raya, Phase 6, Lahore, this four-day event transitioned from the high-glitz runways of February’s Fashion Week to a massive, commerce-driven “fashion-first” retail experience.

Designed specifically as a pre-Eid shopping hub, the festival successfully bridged the gap between Pakistan’s booming online fashion economy and the tactile desire for in-person shopping.

Why It Matters: The “Real-World” Retail Energy

Co-founders Amir Iqbal and Arif Iqbal, in collaboration with Saad Ali (Design651), launched the festival to support the “Remarkable shift in Pakistan’s fashion economy.” By taking brands that were born and raised on Instagram and TikTok and giving them a physical stage, LAAM is proving that digital-first brands can compete with, and even surpass, traditional high-street giants.

The festival utilized the LAAM app not just for entry, but for real-time notifications on flash sales and brand activations, essentially creating a “smart” shopping environment.
