Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has approved plans for a modern 600-bed hospital in Larkana, describing it as a vital step to strengthen healthcare services across upper Sindh. The announcement came during a high-level meeting in Karachi on December 27, 2025, where the chief minister emphasized transparent execution and timely completion. Groundbreaking is set for March 2026, with the facility expected to open in phases over two years — a project initiated on the vision of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
This development promises advanced medical care closer to home for residents in the region.
