Site A Area: Body Found in Banaras Pul River
A body with its hands and feet bound by chains was recovered from the river near Banaras Pul.

- Investigation: SHO Site A, Inspector Shabbir Khattak, noted that the body likely flowed from another area to this location. Despite using the police “Search App” for identification, no matches have been found. The remains are currently at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post-mortem.
Sharafi Goth: Discovery in Underground Water Tank
In a separate incident, a highly decomposed body was found inside an underground water tank of an under-construction house in Hussain Shaheed Society (near Murtaza Chowrangi).
- Condition: Residents alerted police after noticing a foul stench. The body is estimated to be more than 15 days old and is described as mutilated.
- The Victim: The deceased is believed to be around 40 years old.
- Investigation: SHO Sharafi Goth, Inspector Imtiaz Niazi, confirmed that Edhi volunteers assisted in removing the remains. The body has been shifted to Jinnah Hospital for further forensic analysis.
