Lahore, November 13, 2025 – Lahore Investigation Police sealed the sprawling Truckanwala Ada terminal – home and business hub of the Ameer Balaj family – on Thursday in a dramatic escalation to capture fugitive Ameer Fateh, prime suspect in the murder of Javed Butt, brother-in-law of slain gangster Teefi Butt.
A special raid team stormed the site, halting all operations and ordering workers to vacate immediately. The terminal was cordoned off, with heavy police deployment to prevent any activity.“This is not the first action here,” authorities confirmed. Earlier, three individuals – including two employees – were detained for questioning but released after pledging to produce Fateh. The guarantor failed to deliver, triggering the sealing.
Sources say pressure is mounting on Lahore police to crack the case, tied to Teefi Butt’s underworld network. Tensions spiked after Teefi was killed in a police encounter last month. A court has already cancelled Ameer Fateh’s interim bail for repeated no-shows.
As the dragnet tightens, the sealing of Truckanwala Ada marks a bold step in dismantling criminal strongholds linked to one of Lahore’s most notorious feuds.
