WANA, May 4 — Security forces successfully prevented a major suicide attack targeting an army outpost near Azam Warsak Bazaar on Monday. According to official sources, a militant attempted to ram an explosives-laden vehicle into the post, but soldiers intercepted and destroyed the coach before it could reach the target. The blast caused one civilian fatality and left 15 others wounded. The explosion also caused significant damage to nearby structures, including a religious school, a fuel station, and several shops and homes. Emergency teams moved the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital in Wana, where a state of emergency was declared to ensure immediate medical care.
