Rana Irfan, who had enjoyed a strong run to the final, produced the standout moment of the championship in the seventh frame with a brilliant 141 clearance, the highest break of the tournament. The effort reduced the deficit to 5-2 and briefly revived hopes of a comeback.

However, Asif quickly shut the door, comfortably taking the ninth frame to seal a deserved 6-3 victory.

At the post-match presentation ceremony, NBP president and CEO Rehmat Ali Hasnie and Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) president Abdul Qadir Memon presented the awards. Asif received the winner’s trophy along with Rs350,000 in prize money.

Irfan collected Rs200,000 as runner-up, along with an additional Rs20,000 for his tournament-high break.

The title capped a dominant week for Asif, who ousted defending champion Shahid Aftab in the last-16 and conceded just seven frames in his final three knockout matches, underlining his enduring supremacy on the national snooker circuit.
