ISLAMABAD – October 22, 2025:
A video of Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar being casually interviewed on the street — as if he were an ordinary person — has gone viral, drawing praise for his humility and thoughtful answers.

The video, shared by the social media account ‘Khan Journey’, features the multi-talented artist during his visit to the United States, where the interviewer, seemingly unaware of his identity, asks him a series of questions typically reserved for everyday passersby.

Ali Zafar, without revealing who he was, answered each question with poise and depth. Introducing himself simply as an “artist, actor, singer, songwriter, and producer,” he said he chose his profession because of his love for “creation, art, and the magic of making something out of nothing.”

When asked how he maintains consistency in a busy life, Zafar responded, “There is always room for improvement. One should keep working on themselves — on their art and their heart.”

He also addressed his accent with wit, stating, “I’m Pakistani, and Pakistanis have the unique quality of changing their accent as needed.” He added that he speaks Urdu, Punjabi, and “a little English.”

Ending the interview with a one-word piece of advice — “Adab” — he explained that people should treat others with courtesy and respect, no matter their background.
