ATC Orders Blocking of Aleema Khan’s Passport, CNIC in Nov 26 Protest Case

RAWALPINDI: As Aleema Khan failed to appear before the court in the November 26 protest case, Rawalpindi Anti Terrorism Court issued orders on Friday, 24 Oct 2025, to block her passport and CNIC. The court has already issued a non-bailabale arrest warrants for her earlier.

ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah remarked that Aleema “is present everywhere but doesn’t appear before the court.” The court directed NADRA, the Passport Directorate, and the State Bank of Pakistan to enforce the orders immediately.

Aleema Khan, along with several PTI leaders, faces charges under the Anti-Terrorism Act for her alleged role in the November 2022 protest that saw thousands of PTI supporters clash with security forces in Islamabad’s Red Zone.

The case has now become a key legal flashpoint for the PTI leadership, as courts tighten their grip on party figures accused of defying law and order.
