Afghan Among Three Militants Killed in CTD Operation in Khyber

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) neutralized three militants, including an Afghan national, during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber district late Friday night.

According to a CTD statement, the operation targeted Fazal Noor, a commander of the banned Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP), and his associates in Ali Masjid area. As the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team closed in, the militants opened fire, triggering a heavy exchange that lasted nearly 30 minutes.

Security officials reaffirmed that operations against militants will continue until such networks are dismantled, underscoring Pakistan’s determination to root out terrorism.
