QUETTA: Justice Muhammad Kamran Khan Mulakhail took oath on Monday as the Acting Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court (BHC).
The oath-taking ceremony was held in Courtroom No. 1 of the High Court, where Justice Iqbal Ahmed Kasi administered the oath. The event was attended by judges of the BHC, Registrar Abdul Qayyum Lehri, judicial officers, members of the legal fraternity, and a large number of distinguished guests.
Officials and staff of the High Court congratulated Justice Mulakhail on assuming his new responsibilities and expressed hope that he would continue to uphold the traditions of integrity and efficiency in the province’s judiciary.
Justice Mulakhail has served on various judicial benches and is known for his professionalism and dedication to the rule of law. His appointment ensures continuity in the High Court’s work until a permanent Chief Justice is appointed.
