Bajaur: Ababeel Squad Ambushed at Iftar
Four police officers were martyred in the Khar tehsil of Bajaur district when unidentified assailants targeted their patrol vehicle near the Nawai Kallay area.
- The Incident: The Ababeel Squad (an elite patrolling unit) was returning to police lines from Inayat Kallay bazaar. As the personnel prepared for Iftar (breaking their fast), militants opened indiscriminate fire.
- The Martyrs: Police identified the fallen officers as Yar Zada, Dawood Khan, Imran Khan, and Siraj Khan.

Military Response: 34 Militants Killed
In retaliation to the surge in attacks, the Pakistan military conducted multiple Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) across KP and Balochistan over the last 24 hours:
