Closed-circuit television (CCTV) images from the petrol station captured the moment two individuals blocked the minivan’s doors from the outside and threw a liquid inside. The footage showed a fire breaking out immediately before the two suspects fled the scene. Firefighters called to the station discovered the bodies inside the vehicle after putting out the flames.
According to local media reports, investigators believe the killings are connected to ongoing disputes among migrant workers in the area. The region has seen 14 cases of arson involving vehicles carrying Pakistani citizens in recent months. Local law enforcement sources noted that these incidents stem from rising tensions over the division of farm work, accommodation, and legal residency papers.
