ISLAMABAD — President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and several federal cabinet ministers have deposited dozens of high-value gifts — including luxury watches and traditional items — received from foreign dignitaries during the past quarter into the Toshakhana.
The Ministry of Information released the quarterly gift records as part of the Cabinet Division’s ongoing efforts to update public documentation of foreign protocol items dating back to 2002. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that while full inventories are regularly published on the official portal, the names of the foreign leaders who presented the gifts are not disclosed in line with established protocol.
The Cabinet Division has released the official Toshakhana record for the period from April to June 2026, revealing that 21 state gifts were received by senior government officials, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Deputy Prime Minister.
