The Central Police Office (CPO) report shows the police force has borne significant losses, with 79 officers embracing martyrdom and 130 sustaining injuries while confronting militants. Despite the toll, operations have eliminated 32 terrorists and led to the arrest of five, underscoring the resilience of law enforcement.

August alone saw 129 incidents, claiming 17 civilian lives and wounding 51 others. In the same month, 186 suspects were identified and eight terrorists killed in encounters. Bannu emerged as the worst-hit district, reporting 42 attacks, followed by North Waziristan, South Waziristan, Dir, Dera Ismail Khan, and Kurram.
