Karachi, October 9, 2025 — Strikers emerged as champions of the PCB Women’s Under-19 T20 Tournament, defeating Conquerors by four wickets in a low-scoring final at the National Bank Stadium. The event, offering prize money of Rs. 1.5 million, served as a key talent hunt for Pakistan’s upcoming U19 tour to Bangladesh in December.
Batting first, Conquerors were restricted to just 91 runs for 4 wickets, with skipper Samia Afsar top-scoring with 32. Strikers’ Narjis Bibi impressed with the ball, claiming 2 wickets.

In response, despite losing 6 wickets, including 4 run-outs, the Strikers chased the target comfortably in 16.5 overs. Captain Zufshan Ayaz played a pivotal role with a 30-run knock, while Aqsa Habib contributed 24 runs. Zufshan was named Player of the Final and awarded a Rs. 750,000 cash prize alongside the winner’s trophy.

Samia Afsar, captain of the runners-up, not only bagged Rs. 500,000 but was also crowned Best Batter of the Tournament for scoring 271 runs in 8 matches at a strike rate of 122.07.

Strikers’ Narjis Bibi was declared Best Bowler with 11 wickets in 7 matches, while Aqsa Habib earned the Player of the Tournament title. Komal Khan was recognized as Best Wicketkeeper.
The prize distribution ceremony featured Sindh Sports Secretary Munawar Ali Mahsir, PCB Women’s Wing Chairperson Rafia Haider, and Selection Committee Chairman Asad Shafiq, among others.
