Speaking at a rally in Peshawar, Hafiz Naeem said India would not stand by Afghanistan in tough times. He urged Afghan leaders to restore peace and trust between the two neighbours.
The statement came after Afghan forces opened fire at multiple border points over the weekend, including Bajaur, Kurram, Dir, Chitral, and Zhob. Pakistan’s Army responded strongly, killing over 200 militants, while 23 Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom.
Hafiz Naeem called on both governments to start peace talks and focus on joint efforts against terrorism, warning that fighting each other only benefits enemies.
