Air and Ground Sweeps Intensify
The joint offensive—spearheaded by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC), and Balochistan Police—was launched in direct response to the July 7 insurgent assault at the Mangi Dam pumping station, which resulted in the martyred deaths of 27 police personnel.
According to state broadcaster Radio Pakistan, multi-agency tactical teams are currently utilizing integrated aerial surveillance and heavy ground assaults to systematically clear difficult mountain terrains where insurgent holdouts are located.
“The fight will continue until the elimination of Fitna-al-Hindustan terrorists. Those responsible for shedding the blood of innocent people in Balochistan deserve no leniency.” — Mohsin Naqvi, Federal Interior Minister
