ISLAMABAD — Security forces have killed 11 terrorists in the Datta Khel area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district during a series of targeted operations. The military’s media affairs wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), confirmed on Sunday that the successful actions were executed over the preceding 48 hours. According to the military statement, tactical units aggressively engaged multiple militant locations, triggering intense and fierce exchanges of fire that effectively neutralized the attackers.

The successful security enforcement drew high-level praise from the state’s top leadership. President Asif Ali Zardari paid rich tributes to the frontline forces, emphasizing that robust operations against elements working under foreign patronage are indispensable to protecting national security. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif similarly commended the professional capabilities exhibited by the tactical units, reiterating the federal government’s absolute determination to completely purge the country of militancy.
