ISLAMABAD — Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has assured traders and industrialists from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan that the government will provide every possible support and security to address their concerns and resolve operational challenges.
The high-level meeting was held in response to growing worries voiced by chambers of commerce in both provinces about the impact of regional security issues on trade and business activities.

During the meeting, Interior Minister Naqvi briefed business leaders on the federal government’s ongoing counter-terrorism efforts and announced plans for direct engagement in the provinces:
- Provincial Consultations: Naqvi said he will soon visit Peshawar and Quetta to hold detailed meetings with local business representatives and provincial authorities.
- Permanent Framework: The visits are aimed at developing practical, long-term solutions to security and operational hurdles faced by industrialists.
- Economic Priority: The minister emphasised that the private sector plays a vital role in stabilising the national economy, adding that the country’s progress is closely linked to the growth of businesses.
