Pakistan Slams Israeli Strike on Qatar, Urges Global Accountability

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s recent airstrike in Doha, calling it a brazen violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and a dangerous provocation that threatens peace in the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement labeling the attack as “reckless and unlawful,” stressing that it undermines international law, the UN Charter, and regional stability. Islamabad reaffirmed its solidarity with Qatar, assuring full support for its leadership and people.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also voiced outrage, describing the bombing of a residential area in Doha as “heinous and unjustified.” In a call with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, he extended Pakistan’s deepest sympathies and pledged that Pakistan “stood like a rock” with Qatar.

Pakistan reiterated its backing for Palestine as well, urging unity among Muslim nations to confront Israeli aggression.
