Precision Air Strikes & High-Value Targets
The PAF reportedly bypassed border skirmishes to strike deep-seated military and logistical hubs:
- Ammunition Depots: A major depot in Nangarhar was completely obliterated, followed by another in Kandahar.
- Command Centers: Strikes hit two Corps Headquarters, three Brigade Headquarters, and multiple Battalion and Sector Headquarters across Kabul, Paktia, and Kandahar.
- Air Superiority: Security sources confirmed that the Taliban attempted to use quadcopters to target Pakistani checkposts, but all were shot down by electronic warfare and timely kinetic action.

Fighting has been reported across almost all key sectors of the Durand Line:

Official Stance: “Open War”
The rhetoric from Islamabad has shifted from counter-terrorism to conventional warfare:
- Defense Minister Khawaja Asif: Declared that Pakistan’s “cup of patience has overflowed” and warned of an “open war” if aggression continues.
- Information Minister Attaullah Tarar: Accused the Taliban of acting as “Indian proxies” and using “false propaganda” and fake social media videos to hide their losses on the battlefield.
- Talal Chaudhry: Emphasized that “no one will be allowed to take away Pakistan’s peace,” referencing the country’s past military resolve as a warning.
