President Approves Special Allowance for Long-Serving Law Officers

In a move to recognize “sustained service” and expertise within the federal legal team, President Asif Ali Zardari approved an amendment on Thursday, February 12, 2026, introducing a Special Additional AG Allowance for long-serving Additional Attorneys General.

The President signed the summary based on the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, effectively updating the terms and conditions of service for the cadre of federal law officers.
