Islamabad, November 11, 2025 – A suspected suicide explosion rocked the area near the G-11 courthouse in Islamabad on Tuesday, reportedly killing nine people and wounding more than a dozen others, according to initial police statements.
Authorities indicate the attacker may have tried to access the courthouse but, unable to proceed, detonated explosives close to a police vehicle on the service road by the main gate. A forensic team is on-site gathering evidence as the investigation unfolds.

Emergency responders, including Rescue 1122 and ambulances, rushed the injured to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital, where several remain in critical condition. Islamabad’s Inspector General of Police and Chief Commissioner have arrived at the scene and hospital, with security heightened across the vicinity.
