Official Response and Responsibility
The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), identified by the state as Fitna-al-Khawarij, has claimed responsibility for the Bajaur suicide attack. Islamabad continues to urge the Afghan interim government to prevent its soil from being used by militants, an allegation Kabul consistently denies.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the “sacrifices of our brave soldiers and innocent civilians further reinforce our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation at all costs.”
