The wait is officially over. As the Pakistan Super League (PSL) marks its 11th year and expands to an eight-team format, the tournament has dropped its official anthem for 2026: “Khelenge Beat Pe.” Released in collaboration with Pepsi, the track is being hailed as the herald of a new era for the league.
A Star-Studded Vocal Lineup
The PCB has spared no effort in assembling a powerhouse roster to lead this year’s musical charge. The anthem is headlined by the legendary Atif Aslam, marking his second outing after 2022’s “Agay Dekh”. Joining him is PSL veteran Aima Baig, who returns for her fourth appearance, bringing her signature high-energy vocals to the mix.
Adding a fresh layer of depth to the production are:
The Sabri Sisters (Anam and Saman): Their contribution provides a soulful, traditional texture that anchors the song’s modern pop elements.
Daniya Kanwal: The rising rap sensation injects a contemporary, “street” edge into the track, reflecting the evolving taste of Pakistan’s youth.
The Evolution
Sonically, “Khelenge Beat Pe” shifts away from the swelling, orchestral quality of early anthems like “Ab Khel Jamay Ga”. Instead, it leans into a polished, dance-focused production engineered for stadium speakers and social media reels. With thumping drums, bright synths, and a fast-paced, multilingual delivery, the song is designed to be a “celebratory spectacle” rather than just a sports song.
After listening to it multiple times, I feel the anthem “Khelenge Beat Pe” is actually good. The beat is really catchy (apart from the rap section) and it will likely sound great in the stadium and work well with video edits too 👏 pic.twitter.com/VckRTvGRAj

The Fan Reaction: A Divided Digital Stand
As with every PSL anthem, the internet’s reaction has been a whirlwind of debate. While many fans have praised Atif Aslam’s effortless scale and the inclusion of the Sabri Sisters, others have voiced a longing for the stadium-shaking anthems of the past. On TikTok and X (formerly Twitter), the conversation remains split between those who love the vibe-heavy modern sound and those who miss the raw, patriotic fervor of earlier seasons.
