LAHORE, Oct 15, 2025 — In a major step towards promoting ease of doing business in Punjab, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday announced the official launch of the ‘e-Biz’ portal, a comprehensive digital platform aimed at streamlining business-related services across the province.

Announcing the development on social media platform X, the Chief Minister called the portal a “revolutionary step” toward improving business facilitation and encouraging investment in Punjab.

The e-Biz portal offers a one-stop online solution for investors and entrepreneurs, providing end-to-end services including permits, licenses, business registration, and land use conversion — all accessible digitally.

“Business people can now avail e-Biz facilities from the comfort of their offices or homes, without any red tape, delay, or hassle,” said Maryam Nawaz, highlighting the government’s drive for transparency, efficiency, and convenience.

The platform is designed to eliminate bureaucratic delays and manual processing by digitizing key procedures involved in starting or operating a business in Punjab. The launch is seen as a crucial move to attract domestic and foreign investment, enhance governance, and reduce opportunities for corruption in the licensing and regulatory process.

Maryam Nawaz termed the portal a “significant step forward” in building a more business-friendly Punjab, underscoring her administration’s vision of modernizing the province’s economic infrastructure.

The e-Biz initiative aligns with Punjab’s broader digital transformation strategy and supports Pakistan’s national agenda for economic revival through innovation and investor confidence.
