London – October 10, 2025—A UK High Court has ruled against YouTuber and ex-army officer Major (retd) Adil Farooq Raja in a defamation case filed by retired Brigadier Rashid Nasir, a former officer of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). The court found Raja’s allegations of corruption, political interference, and human rights abuses to be “false and baseless.”
The ruling, delivered by Justice Richard Spearman KC, ordered Raja to pay £50,000 in damages (approx. PKR 20 million) and an estimated £300,000 in legal costs (over PKR 110 million), totaling £350,000.
The lawsuit, filed in August 2022 and made public earlier this year, centered on nine social media posts and videos where Raja accused Brigadier Nasir of electoral manipulation, judicial interference, and operating on behalf of senior military leadership. The court found that Raja provided no credible evidence to support his claims.
