In a major success for the ongoing National Action Plan, Pakistan’s security forces neutralized 15 high-value terrorists during two separate intelligence-based operations in Balochistan. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that the slain operatives were working under direct “Indian sponsorship” to destabilize the province through targeted attacks and sabotage.
12 Khawarij Operatives Killed in Harnai District
On March 5, acting on precise intelligence regarding the presence of Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP) militants, security forces launched a pre-dawn strike in the rugged terrain of Harnai. The operation targeted a well-fortified hideout where the militants were reportedly planning a fresh wave of attacks.
Following a “fierce exchange of fire,” 12 operatives of the banned outfit were killed. The ISPR stated that these individuals were instrumental in executing cross-border terrorism and were receiving logistical support from external handlers to undermine Pakistan’s sovereign stability.
Surgical Strike in Basima Targets ‘Fitna-ul-Hindustan’
A second coordinated operation took place in Basima district, specifically targeting the separatist faction known as Fitna-ul-Hindustan (FAH). Utilizing advanced surveillance and heavy weaponry, security forces engaged a group of three terrorists involved in recent attacks on civilian infrastructure.
All three militants were neutralized after a brief but intense encounter. A significant cache of arms, ammunition, and sophisticated explosives was recovered from their possession, preventing what officials described as a “large-scale imminent threat” to the local population.
“The security forces remain committed to eliminating foreign-sponsored terrorism from every inch of our soil under the ‘Vision and Commitment to Stability’ approved by the Federal Apex Committee.” — ISPR Official Statement.

Ongoing Clearance Operations and National Security Focus
Following the successful IBOs, clearance operations are currently underway in both Harnai and Basima to ensure no remnants of the terrorist cells remain in the area. These operations are part of the broader Operation Raddul Fitna, which has already seen the elimination of hundreds of militants since the start of 2026.
Key outcomes of the dual operations:
- Total Casualties: 15 terrorists killed (12 FAK, 3 FAH).
- Recovered Gear: Automatic weapons, IED components, and communication devices.
- External Link: Evidence of “Indian patronage” confirmed by recovered documents.
- Strategy: Strict adherence to the National Action Plan and the Federal Apex Committee directives.

In the wake of these operations, military commanders are expected to hold a “Grand Jirga” with local tribal elders in Harnai to reinforce community-based security measures. The focus will be on preventing the re-establishment of hideouts and ensuring the safe return of displaced families to the cleared zones.
